Walking Marathon

Today's reading article was about A 103-year-old Belgian doctor walking a marathon around his garden to raise money for Covid-19 research. He started his 42.2 km journey in his home town on June 1 and decides to complete it on June the 30th. For every lap he would always put a stick in the bowl so he doesn't lose his count for his laps. This man has been supporting Covid-19. Sometimes he goes to the hospital and makes sure people the have Covid-19 are alright. 

Reading Rotation

Today Tusitala (My group) has a new topic for this week and next week. Our topic is basically about these two smart couples. They go by "The Gocks". The Lady's name is Fay and the Man's name is Joe. They got married in 1956 and started gardening for a living. These two couples really love Gardening. If anybody asks them to help with their garden they will always up for it. They don't really care about getting money they just love being around vegetables and fruits. One day Joe had a really great idea, He wanted to know how to keep a broccoli fresh and clean. Firstly he thought that putting the broccoli in the fridge for long was a great idea. But then he thought of another brilliant idea. He first put some ice in a big chilly bin and then he put the broccoli in the chilly bin while the ice is in it.

George Floyd's Funeral :(

Today I read a really sad article about George Floyd's Funeral being held in Houston. It's really sad to hear a really nice man past away.  George Floyd was an African American man who died because of racism. American flags lined the streets outside the church to pay their respect to George Floyd and his family. Flowers and bouquets were placed around the photograph of Floyd. Former Vice president Joe Biden, the Democratic presidential candidate, Spoke via a video.  

  

Scientist find world's cleanest air

Today I read this really great article. Some really smart scientist people has found the most cleanest air in the whole world. The the discovery was made by a research group out of Colorado State university. The scientist found that a air layer was free from particles that humans create from burning fossil fuels and travelling in planes and cars. This air is really good for everybody because the air that is surrounding us right now is really bad and polluted.
