Toitoi

             PWC - Toitoi

Today people from PWC  (Price Waterhouse Cooper) came to our school to
read their latest or new book to us called Toitoi. Toitoi is a book that a lady
named Charlotte created. Her kids didn’t really like to read books. But her
kids said that they like reading books that kids write and that they like books
with pictures in it. So Charlotte created Toitoi with kids writing around New Zealand.

Five wonderful people from PWC came to our school their names were Lee ,
Charlotte , Breanne , Venice and Courtney. We splitted into groups of six , five
and seven.  My group was Viliami , Bianca , Candice , Maya , Dywane , Taylor ,
Lee (Teacher) and myself. We read about six book called Broken city , New school
, Bright future , A narrow escape , Whakatauki and Grief.

My favourite story was Grief. Grief was a book about a girl who sadly lost her father
because her dad passed away. She was very upset because the father would usually be
at her family's birthdays and special occasions. She was very sad because her father
would always hug her and give her a kiss when she went to school. She was very sad
because she waited for the dad to come back but her wouldn’t

I really enjoyed our time reading with the PWC people because i really learnt lots of cool
big and new words. I also enjoyed reading with PWC because of the stories we read , they
were very cool and interesting. I Hope they come back very soon because there books and
very amazing because you can learn a lot from other peoples stories.
