Volleyball tournament 2k19

Yesterday , Wednesday 10th April 2019 , Students from Glenbrae school

had a competitive Volleyball tournament with other manaiakalani schools

at ASB Tamaki Cluster stadium . Such as ,Tamaki primary l , Glen Innes ,

St Pius , Stonefields , Pt england , Bailey rd  , and Ruapotaka. We had four

volleyball teams , two year 8 teams , one year 7 team and one year 6 team.

We had Mrs Tukuafu , Mrs Atuahiva , Mrs Tofa and Mrs Maruariki.

Firstly , we won our first and second game , Tied our third game , went to the

finals and won out last game with Stone fields So we came 1st place. Secondly

The year 8’s won their first , second and third game and won both the semi final

games. Lastly the year 6;s won all of their games and they came first as well.

After all those fun and challenging games with other schools we sadly had to

leave and go back to school, because it was 2:30pm. When we got to school

we took off our uniform and changed into our usual clothes. After changing

Maya’s mum decided to buy our volleyball team some pizzas and drinks.

When the pizza cam everybody was so surprised because she brought lots

of pizza.

I really enjoyed the Volleyball tournament because i got to hang out with my

friends and i got to play volley with other schools even though they lost. I also

liked the encouragement going on because it really helped with the game as

well. I can’t wait for the next volleyball tournament so we can Vc more and more

Manaiakalani school.
